Content Requirements for Customer Information
The aim of the Wind Industry Guideline for Content Requirements for Customer Information is to specify the information that the OEM must provide to the customer. It serves as a published reference for the required content to be communicated between the OEM and the customer.
The information will depend on different factors divided into four tiers:
- Technical information that is required to own the WTG.
- Technical information that is required to operate the WTG.
- Technical information that is required to carry out activities in relation to the product lifecycle according to the WTG manufacturer’s design and defined work practices.
- Technical information providing detailed insights to the WTG manufacturer’s design and defined work practices or technical information that would enable the owner to define their own work practices. This information may enable the owner to perform their own technical due diligence, for instance to improve WTG reliability and assess potential for Lifetime Extension.
